Enjoying the Water Taxis and the Leisurely Walk between Disney Hollywood and Epcot
If you want to experience Walt Disney World atmosphere but don't want to spend money to go into the parks, taking the boat from Disney Hollywood Studios to the BoardWalk and then walking on the walkway back from the Boardwalk to Disney Hollywood is an excellent way to do it. A short walk northeast of the front gate of Disney Hollywood Studios takes you to the dock for the Disney Water Taxi where you can board a boat (water taxi) that can take you to three locations, Disney's BoardWalk (including the BoardWalk Inn and BoardWalk Villas), the Yacht Club, and The International Gateway entrance to Epcot. The ride to Epcot takes 20 minutes which includes the stops to the BoardWalk and the Yacht Club on the way. Donned with southern landscaping and architecture, the ride offers a calm and pleasant journey past the resorts and the BoardWalk to the Gateway.
